Mitsubishi A6M2b 'Zero'
The image entitled "First Strike at Pearl" depicts the infamous air raid on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. It was created in collaboration with Glenn McCarter for the November/December 1998 Internet Raytracing Competition. The competition theme was "First Encounter" and the image won the first place. Thereafter image was also featured in the on line version of Computer Graphics World magazine and the Hall of Fame on POV-Ray (the software used to create the image) website. The airplane model was originaly made for the project. )
